Onufri National Iconographic Museum

The Onufri National Iconographic Museum, located in The Dormition of St Mary, the Kala quarter's Cathedral ( dating to XVIII century). This post-Byzantine style church is characterized by a magnificent gold plating wooden iconostasis, possesses collections of icons, artworks, and artefacts dating to XIV through XIX centuries. The collection also includes important religious works by the great artist Onufri, who developed his activity in XVI century and his school of painters.
